The Primary Years Programme (PYP) exhibition provides Grade V students with the opportunity to apply the knowledge, trans-disciplinary skills, concepts, attitudes and action that they have been developing throughout their engagement with the PYP. It is an opportunity for students to exhibit the attributes of the IB learner profile. It is also about learners having opportunities to find and solve problems and explore real issues that matter.

The issue selected this year is “Waste Management” under the theme “Sharing the Planet”.  Our students are into the process of inquiring about the different aspects of the issue such as sources, types, impacts and solution to the problem. Three categories have been chosen: Solid-liquid waste, hazardous waste and organic waste where in-depth research is being done by students of each group.

The PYP Exhibition is an opportunity to celebrate our students’ learning and sharing it with the whole school community. The students are going to present their work through different media such as drama, dance, song, presentations, charts and models. The students are all geared up and practising rigorously for the D-day.
