“I was once the most beautiful planet in the universe…” said Sanjh who was wearing prop of the earth. Earth was looking sad, crying, sick and ailing with a thermometer in her mouth. She wails “and just look at me now, the greedy thieves are plundering my wealth day and night. It is like living in hell on earth. Dry lakes and rivers, vanishing species and polluting oceans are increasing day by day. The earth is so precious we cannot find good earth in the universe. Let’s preserve it for ourselves and our future generations”.
Students from Grade VII C and IX A gave beautiful presentations with the participants depicting the past, present and future of the earth. The students also made resolutions to take actions individually as well as collectively to save our precious planet.
